One of the best parts of Plainview ISD is seeing the positive impact our culture has on both students and staff. Years ago, Principal Sarah Williams taught Justus DeLeon in the classroom. Today, they now work side by side—one leading as principal, the other inspiring students as a teacher.

📢 Attention Plainview ISD Families 📢
In compliance with Senate Bill 12 (SB 12), parental consent is now required for all health-related services provided at school. This includes basic care such as taking temperatures, assessing illness, providing first aid, or giving over-the-counter medication.
✅ Action Required:
Parents/Guardians must log into Skyward and complete the 2026 Student Health Consent Form.
• Indicate whether you do or do not give consent.
• Sign and date the form.
• Forms must be completed by Tuesday, September 2.
Without a signed consent form, your child cannot be seen by the school nurse beginning September 1.
We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and your partnership in keeping our students healthy and safe.

The STUCCO high school has created themes for all the games and are encouraging all PISD students to join in on the fun.

🎉 Celebrating Retirement at Plainview High School 🎉
Plainview ISD is honored to celebrate two incredible custodians as they begin their well-earned retirement.
✨ John has faithfully served PISD for 8 years. He shared that the most rewarding part of his work has been the way teachers and office staff treated him and his team with respect and professionalism. One of his most unforgettable memories is working alongside his friend Adam and the lasting impact of losing him. What John will miss most is the crew he’s worked with over the years, saying he’s had the privilege of working with some truly awesome people. As for retirement, John is looking forward to a month-long trip to Colorado to spend precious time with his grandsons.
✨ Jesse has dedicated an incredible 30 years to PISD. He often told family and friends, “I don’t like my job; I LOVE my job.” His favorite memories are the countless laughs shared with co-workers, teachers, and coaches. Jesse says what he’ll miss most is being around everyone daily. In retirement, he plans to travel to Temple and Waco to visit relatives and spend plenty of time in Lubbock with his grandkids.
Please join us in congratulating John and Jesse on their retirements and thanking them for their many years of service to Plainview ISD. ❤️

Plainview ISD would like to extend a heart-felt THANK YOU to Hale Country Sheriff’s Department! Their deputies have been such an asset assisting with the pick-up process at the ELC. We truly value their support and help!
Plainview ISD would also like to express a big THANK YOU to our ELC parents! You have been great. Thank you for working with us and improving the drop off and pick up process. Yesterday, we were clear in less than 35 minutes. We appreciate your patience, kind words, and the occasional Tea to Go or Red Bull you have shared with our District Police, campus staff, and district staff who have been helping during dismissal.
