ELC AWARDS:
Good evening, this call is for all parents or guardians of any 7th – 12th grade student signed up for football next school year. We are having a combined booster club and parent meeting on Tuesday, May 12. This meeting will take place in the PHS Auditorium at 5:30pm. This is a really important meeting as there will be provided valuable information regarding summer, physicals and Rank One information, recruiting answers, and important dates for the start of next season. There will also be an opportunity to have all of your questions answered. We understand if you have other obligations, but if possible, we would love for you to attend and get this very important information. It is important for all football players’ parents, but of utmost importance especially for incoming 7th and 9th graders as they are entering new campuses next school year. Students do not need to attend, but are more than welcome to. We hope to see you there!

Tomorrow is the second registration day for Pre-K and for all students who are new to the district entering Kindergarten. If your child is already enrolled in PISD Pre-K, you do not need to attend for the upcoming Kindergarten year.

STATE BOUND… AGAIN
Ava Rushing is headed back to the State Track & Field Meet for her senior year, and this time she’s bringing even more with her.
She has qualified in two events, earning 1st place in shot put and 2nd place in discus. This is such an incredible accomplishment that reflects her dedication, strength, and consistency all season long.
This moment carries even more weight knowing what she accomplished a year ago. As a junior, Ava finished 2nd in the state in shot put, making history for Plainview and setting the standard for what’s possible.
Now, as a senior, she returns to the biggest stage in Texas track and field with experience, confidence, and unfinished business.
Plainview is proud of you. Your hard work has paid off, and your journey is not finished yet!!

Seniors and Parents:
GEN TX is May 7th starting at 1:00pm in the auditorium. if you qualify, you should be receiving a letter in the mail. Parents and students are welcome to start checking in at the front of the auditorium at 12:40pm after lunch.
Students are only allowed 2 guests in the auditorium and to walk them through the bulldog in the gym. All other family members need to report to the gym by 2:00pm to watch those festivities.
Students and parents are encouraged to wear your college shirt or colors and be festive with us!
