PHS will be offering the ASVAB test Wednesday September 24th at 1:30 pm in the PHS basement. 11th and 12th grade students who have an interest in joining the military need to sign up using the following link: https://forms.gle/bYUrvs43GeacEYpZ6
There is no cost for the test. The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 19th.

Congratulations to the 27 students inducted in the PHS Chapter of the National Honor Society.
It is not an easy task to be eligible for membership. Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors with a cumulative GPA of 5.1 are invited to apply. Candidates are then evaluated on the basis of service, leadership, and character. In addition to the strong academic records which established the eligibility for membership, our chapter members are leaders in many student organizations and serve our school and community through many activities.

PHS Cafeteria
Teachers will check for ID badges each class period as students enter the classroom.
Students not wearing badges will be sent to the office to make arrangements to retrieve their missing badge or to purchase a replacement badge for $5.
Students unable to obtain a badge will remain in an assigned location, receive an unexcused absence, and will be considered truant. The truancy and tardy policy will be followed.
PHS Parents: This policy has been explained to your students the last two days.
In accordance with Texas House Bill 1481, students shall not possess or use a personal communication device such as cell phones, Smart Watches, tablets and/or any other Electronic Communication Device on school property at any time during the school day, including campus lunch and passing periods.
Possession or use of devices during the day will result in the confiscation of the devices and disciplinary action.
