EOC Summer School will be June 2-16 at Plainview High School Below is the schedule: June 2-Student Registration & Teacher Prep June 3-5 Summer School Sessions June 9-12 Summer School Sessions June 16th EOC testing begins Students will receive a letter that has been mailed home stating which EOC they did not pass. Students receiving this letter will need to attend Summer School.

Plainview ISD schools will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on regular schedule on Tuesday, May 27th.

Good evening Senior Parents. This is a reminder of the GenTx celebration day at PHS tomorrow starting at 1:30pm in the auditorium. If your Senior has qualified to participate in GenTx, you are welcome to join them for the festivities of the day. Each Senior can have 2 escorts join them in the auditorium. These escorts can enter through the front doors of the school to check in and make your way to the auditorium. All other guests, will need to go to the main gym where the GenTx introductions and signing ceremony will begin around 2:00pm. Please make plans to join us in the fun day of celebrating the big post-secondary plans the Class of 2025 has made. Buenas tardes Padres de estudiantes del Grado 12. Este es un recordatorio del día de celebración de GenTx en PHS. ES mañana a las 1:30 p. m. en el auditorio. Si su estudiante ha calificado para participar en GenTx, puede unirse a ellos para las festividades del día. Cada estudiante puede tener 2 acompañantes en el auditorio. This morning, our talented PHS Art Department is transforming the windows of the Larry Dickerson Building downtown—thanks to a special grant that made this project possible! If you’re in the area, swing by to see their creative work in progress. We’ll share the final results!

PISD Prom is Saturday, April 26, 2025 6:00 PM - 11:30 PM at Corona Event Center (109 N Broadway, Plainview TX 79072) The attached map provides information about parking and entrance to the venue. Boone's photography will be present at prom, so pictures can be purchased.

The PHS Campus will be closed on Thursday, April 24th for Algebra 1 STAAR EOC Testing. Testing students are to report to their assigned testing rooms at 8:00 am with charged chrome books. Non-testing students may enter through Door 8 to the cafeteria after 11:51 am.

Two local scholarship applications are available in the high school counseling office: The Highland "Jacob Chapa" PTO for any senior who attended Highland Elementary School (due by May 3) and the Class of 1994 Plainview Education Foundation Scholarship (due before May 3).
