There will be a Prom Parent Meeting for Junior Parents on Monday, February 2 at 5:30 in the PHS Cafeteria.

PHS Counselors are in the office ready for scheduling appointments! We have lots of openings today for Juniors, Friday, Monday and Tuesday for Juniors & Sophomores. If you have not made your appointment yet, or if we missed your appointment due to snow days and today's delay, please get your appointment made. Thank you for your time, patience and determination in helping us get these appointments done so that your student has a solid schedule for next year.

Plainview Independent School District will operate on a 10:00 AM delayed start tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, due to icy road conditions.
• Buses will run on paved roads only
• Staff will report at 9:30 AM
Please ensure students dress warmly and allow extra time to travel safely.

We ask families and staff to dress warmly and please allow extra time during morning drop-off. We appreciate your patience, especially while dropping off our youngest students, as crews continue clearing areas to ensure safe access.

Buenos días, padres de alumnos de segundo y tercer año de PHS. Las consejeras de PHS han habilitado el miércoles 28 de enero para programar citas. Si su cita se canceló debido a los días de nieve, o si aún no ha programado una cita, por favor, programe una para uno de los siguientes días: miércoles 28 de enero, viernes 30 de enero, lunes 2 de febrero o martes 3 de febrero. Varios de estos días coinciden con la programación de citas para los alumnos de segundo año, lo cual no representa ningún problema. Nos aseguraremos de atender a ambos grados dentro de este plazo.

Good morning Junior Parents. The PHS Counselors have opened up Wednesday, January 28th for scheduling appointments. If your appointment was missed due to snow days, or if you have not made an appointment yet, please get your appointment scheduled on one of the following days: Wed. Jan 28th, Friday Jan 30th, Monday Feb 2nd or Tuesday Feb 3rd. Several of these days overlap with Sophomore scheduling, and that is ok.

Seniors and parents of seniors: Xello is a program our school uses for many different things, and all seniors have access to their Xello accounts through their Google Login. Many scholarships, including some local and regional scholarships, are now available for application. They have deadlines ranging from January through March, but they are all worth looking into. There are scholarships posted for migrant and EB students, for athletes, for scholars, and for just all-around great kids, like the ones we have here in Plainview, Texas! Please have your senior log into Xello and apply! Also, if your student has been accepted to a college or university, scholarships for that school should be available from the school's own website and those will be due very soon. New scholarships are added nearly every week in spring. Also, the Plainview local scholarship applications will be passed out in person to seniors within the next couple of weeks.

The Ring Ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 6pm in the PHS Auditorium. Please make plans to attend if you have a student receiving a ring!
