🌟🎉As we close out our final Senior Spotlights for the first graduating class of PCHS, we honor three individuals whose journeys remind us that strength, curiosity, and authenticity take many forms: Lizeth Benavides, Alana Greve, and Phillip Dyson🎉🌟
🎓Lizeth Benavides is proof that our past does not define us—our character does. Forged by experience and fueled by determination, Lizeth has chosen a path of service, enlisting in the Marines after high school. It’s a choice that speaks volumes about who she is: brave, disciplined, and deeply committed to something greater than herself. During her time at PCHS, Lizeth found unexpected light in the kindness and encouragement of Mrs. Cook and Mr. Carthel—teachers who went beyond the role of educator to become mentors, supporters, and the kind of people who leave lasting impressions. They helped shape the resilience and drive that define Lizeth today. Her best memories come from sporting events with friends, moments that reminded her that joy can coexist with struggle, and that community can be built one Friday night at a time. Football games—with their energy, unity, and escape—will be what she misses most. When asked about her legacy, Lizeth offers a powerful truth: “Having a bad life doesn’t mean you have to be a bad person.” Through every obstacle, she’s chosen compassion over bitterness, strength over surrender, and purpose over pity. That legacy—a legacy of choosing love and integrity in the face of adversity—is already written in the hearts of those who know her. Her favorite quote says it all: “Do it out of love, not for love.” And that’s exactly how Lizeth Benavides lives—honorably, wholeheartedly, and without apology.
🎓In a world that often moves too quickly to question itself, Alana Greve (not pictured) has always found strength in slowing down to think critically, ask questions, and seek truth. Alana will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall to further her passion for Computer Science—a field that, like her, blends logic with creativity, structure with innovation. Her journey through high school at PCHS wasn’t paved with fantasy, but with reality—raw, eye-opening, and ultimately transformational. She remembers that first week of high school, a time that felt almost magical, before it gave way to more difficult truths. Yet within that shift, she found a deeper kind of learning—about resilience, authenticity, and growth. She credits Dr. Nessen as the teacher who impacted her most, challenging her to expand her mind and approach the world with both openness and analytical precision. While Alana may not miss high school, she carries forward something more valuable: a sharpened intellect, a questioning spirit, and an unflinching honesty that will guide her through the challenges ahead. After college, she plans to enter the workforce—not just to earn a living, but to begin making her mark, wherever that journey may lead. When asked about her legacy, Alana responds with humble uncertainty. But perhaps that’s exactly what makes her stand out—she doesn’t pretend to have it all figured out. Instead, she’s willing to explore, to question, and to evolve. As George Orwell wrote in her favorite quote: “Until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious.” Alana Greve is already on that path toward consciousness—and that, in itself, is a legacy in the making.
🎓With quiet confidence and relentless ambition, Phillip Dyson is stepping into his next chapter at Angelo State University, ready to embrace every challenge and opportunity that comes his way. Known for his sharp mind and steady determination, Phillip has always moved with purpose—never rushing, but never standing still. At PCHS, Phillip wasn’t just a student—he was a thinker, a doer, someone who saw obstacles not as setbacks but as invitations to grow. Now, as he heads to ASU, Phillip is preparing not just for academic achievement, but for real-world impact. What sets Phillip apart isn’t just where he’s going, but how he’s going: with integrity, focus, and an unshakable sense of who he is. His story is still being written, but one thing is already clear—Phillip Dyson is destined to leave a legacy of purpose, progress, and quiet power.
✨🎊Congratulations, Lizeth, Alana, and Phillip! As you each begin a new chapter—whether it’s serving your country, exploring new ideas, or building your future—we want you to know how incredibly proud we are of you. You’ve faced challenges with strength, pursued your paths with purpose, and stayed true to who you are. You are each walking your own path, but one thing connects you—you are leaving behind not just memories, but a legacy. A legacy of authenticity. Of perseverance. Of possibility. Good luck as you chase your dreams, shape your futures, and rise into everything you were meant to become. We believe in you, we’re proud of you, and we can’t wait to see how far you’ll go.🎊✨

🌟🎉Today, we celebrate two exceptional seniors who have made their mark at PCHS through their passion, leadership, and dedication to making a difference. As they prepare to step into new chapters of their lives, we pause to honor their journey, their dreams, and the legacy they leave behind.🎉🌟
🎓Thoughtful, kind, and quietly determined, Paige Castaneda is a shining example of how strength and compassion can go hand in hand. As she heads to Angelo State University to study Business, Paige isn’t just chasing a career—she’s preparing to leave a lasting mark on the world. Her dreams are rooted in service, community, and healing, with plans to join the Peace Corps after graduation and dedicate herself to helping those in need across the globe. Paige is the kind of person who leads with heart. At PCHS, she found encouragement and understanding through the guidance of Mrs. Alderson, a teacher who not only helped her academically but also reminded her of the power of connection and kindness. That same spirit of support is what Paige plans to pay forward in the years to come. Among the many memories she’s made during high school, one of her favorites is simply playing card games with friends during study hall—a reminder that joy can be found in the little things, and that laughter shared with good friends is something truly priceless. What she’ll miss most about high school isn’t just the routines or the classes—it’s the people. The daily moments of laughter, encouragement, and honest conversations that turned classmates into family. As she steps into a brand-new chapter, those memories will go with her, quietly fueling the work she’ll do next. When asked what legacy she wants to leave behind, Paige’s answer is simple, yet powerful: “I want to be someone known for helping and healing others.” That’s the kind of legacy that doesn’t just make an impact—it changes lives. And with a little humor to balance her heartfelt mission, Paige leaves us with her favorite quote: "A five-letter word ending in happiness... MONEY!" – Mr. Krabs - Because if anyone can combine compassion with drive, humility with humor—it’s Paige. Paige, your heart is pure gold, and your future is full of promise. Wherever life takes you next, we know you’ll continue to inspire, uplift, and lead with love. Keep dreaming big—the world is better with you in it.
🎓Bold. Driven. Unstoppable. That’s how you describe Hannah Garcia—a young woman with big dreams, a heart rooted in gratitude, and a fierce passion for agriculture and education. As she sets her sights on Texas Tech University, where she’ll major in Agriculture Education, Hannah isn’t just chasing a career—she’s chasing a purpose. After college, Hannah plans to become an agriculture teacher, while also diving into her entrepreneurial spirit by building a livestock photography business. But she’s not stopping there. Whether it’s creating the next big livestock feed supplement, launching a magazine, or starting a brand in the ag industry, Hannah is proof that you don’t have to choose just one path—you can do it all. At PCHS, Hannah found a mentor in Mr. Carthel, whose dad jokes were only matched by his wisdom. “He reminded me to be thankful—for the bad, the good, the lessons, the memories, and the people,” she says. That perspective shaped not only her time in high school, but her outlook on life: to find gratitude even in the mess. One of her favorite memories? Being crowned Lions Club Princess. But it wasn’t the title that made it special—it was the people. “Every Wednesday at lunch, I was blessed to be in a room full of people who loved and supported me for who I was,” she shares. “They treated me like one of their own, and I’ll never forget that.” Though she jokes that she’ll miss her close parking spot, what Hannah will truly miss most are the connections she’s built with staff and peers. Their support was a safety net, and now she’s ready to soar. When asked what legacy she wants to leave behind, Hannah answers with the kind of fire that makes people believe in their own dreams too: "You can do it all." Even when the world tells you your dreams are too big, or your plans too ambitious—push through. Feel every emotion, face every obstacle, and then rise above them all. Because if you keep going, you will have done it all. Her favorite quote sums up her fearless approach to life: "Don't spend too long being good that you wait too long to be great!" Hannah, your ambition is limitless and your heart is pure gold. Keep chasing greatness—we believe in you, and we know the world is going to hear your name.
✨🎊We are so incredibly proud of both of you! Your passion, drive, and kindness have left a meaningful impact at PCHS, and we know that your futures are filled with purpose and possibility. Wherever life takes you next, never forget how proud we are of who you are and all that you’re becoming. Keep shining bright! You’ve made us proud—now go make the world even brighter. 🎊✨

✨🎊As the school year comes to a close, we shine the spotlight on two exceptional individuals—John and Brianna. Both have demonstrated incredible dedication, resilience, and a passion for their futures. 🎊✨
🎓With determination, kindness, and a deep desire to help others, Brianna Cuellar is stepping confidently into the next chapter of her life. She will be attending Texas Woman’s University to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene, with the goal of becoming a compassionate Dental Hygienist who makes a lasting impact on her patients' lives. Brianna's passion for healthcare shines through in everything she does, as she works toward creating a healthier, happier world, one smile at a time. Throughout her years at PCHS, Brianna found her greatest inspiration and support from her parents, whose guidance and encouragement have helped her overcome every obstacle. Their dedication and belief in her have motivated Brianna to push through challenges and strive for excellence, not only in her academic achievements but in the way she approaches life. “They have helped me push through the classes at PCHS,” she says with gratitude. One of Brianna’s favorite memories from high school was joining volleyball, a sport that taught her the value of teamwork, perseverance, and dedication. Whether it was a tough practice or a hard-fought match, volleyball brought out the best in Brianna—helping her to push her limits and form bonds with teammates that will last a lifetime. And now, as graduation approaches, what she’ll miss the most is the camaraderie and the friends who became her second family. As she moves forward into her career, Brianna hopes her legacy will be one of kindness and compassion. “I want to be remembered as a kind person,” she says. It’s clear that her character, rooted in love and care for others, will leave a lasting impression on everyone she encounters. Brianna has already made a difference at PCHS by showing kindness to all, and she’s ready to continue spreading that positive energy wherever she goes. Her favorite quote, “What would Jesus do?”, reflects her commitment to living a life guided by faith, compassion, and the desire to make the world a better place. Brianna, you have a heart that shines with kindness and a spirit that will inspire those around you.
🎓With a future focused on healing and helping others, John "Sebastian" Beltran is ready to take on the world as he heads to South Plains College to study Physical Therapy. His goal is to make a lasting impact on people’s lives by helping them recover, grow stronger, and live better. After college, John plans to dive straight into the workforce, applying his skills and knowledge to make a real difference. John’s journey at PCHS was full of memorable moments, but it was Mr. Soder who had the greatest impact. “He would always offer words of wisdom that really made me think,” John says. His time in the classroom with Mr. Soder gave him valuable insights not only into life but into the power of perseverance and listening to others. One of John’s best memories from high school? Hanging out with the baseball team and coaches—a group of people who made school feel like a family. The bonds created in those moments, filled with laughter, teamwork, and shared experiences, will stay with him forever. While John’s high school years were filled with friends and inspiring teachers, it’s the quirky, relaxed moments he’ll miss the most. Whether it was chatting about coffee, asking odd questions, or doing goofy things just for fun, John brought his unique personality and lighthearted spirit to everything he did. When asked about his legacy, John admits it’s something he hasn’t thought much about—but he has a pretty good idea of how people will remember him: “I think people will remember me as the guy who always asked weird questions, talked about drinking coffee, was trying to relax, did goofy things occasionally, and was known as Larry.” It’s clear that John’s legacy will be one of fun, friendship, and the simple joy of being yourself. John’s favorite quote, “If you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying” by Brandon Gilliland, reflects his playful, go-getter attitude—a reminder to push boundaries, have fun, and always give your best, no matter the challenge. John, your authenticity, humor, and heart will take you far in this world. As you head off to your next adventure, remember that it's your unique spirit that will continue to inspire those around you. Keep relaxing, keep being you, and keep bringing joy to everyone you meet.
🌟🎉Congratulations, John and Brianna! You both have worked hard, persevered, and set your sights on amazing futures, and we couldn’t be prouder of all that you’ve accomplished. Good luck with all your future endeavors—your hard work and heart will always lead you to success.🎉🌟

🌟🎉Our next senior spotlight is highlighting to incredible PCHS scholars: Crystal Garcia and Jordan DeLeon. As they prepare to leave their mark on the world, they are stepping confidently into the next chapter of their lives—both with dreams full of purpose, passion, and the drive to succeed.🎉🌟 🎓Compassionate, determined, and unafraid to chase bold dreams—Crystal Garcia is stepping into the future with heart and purpose. Soon to be a proud Red Raider at Texas Tech University, Crystal will major in Nursing, where she’ll begin her journey toward becoming a travel nurse—a career that blends her love for helping others with her adventurous spirit. Whether it's across the country or around the world, she’s ready to bring care and comfort wherever she goes. Crystal’s time at PCHS was shaped by strong friendships and meaningful mentorship. She credits Mrs. Cook as the greatest positive influence in her high school experience. “She’s always been kind, supportive, and there to listen,” Crystal says. It’s that kind of presence Crystal hopes to be for others in her career: calm, steady, and full of care. Her best memory from high school? Joining the soccer team—a decision that not only challenged her but also gave her some of her most cherished experiences. Through early mornings, tough practices, and team victories, Crystal learned what it means to push forward with resilience and team spirit. As she prepares to graduate, she knows she’ll miss the close-knit circle of friends who’ve walked beside her through every chapter. The inside jokes, shared struggles, and daily laughter—they’ve all become pieces of the person she is today. When asked what kind of legacy she wants to leave behind, Crystal’s answer is clear and powerful: “My legacy should be one of respect, hard work, and inspiring others to strive for their best.” And that’s exactly the legacy she’s already building—one kind word, one act of strength, and one courageous choice at a time. Her favorite quote by Lucille Ball perfectly captures her fearless approach to life: “I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.” It’s a reminder to take chances, live boldly, and never hold back when it comes to your dreams. Crystal, your heart, your grit, and your purpose will change lives—and the world is lucky to have you in it. Your story is just beginning, and we know it’s going to be extraordinary. 🎓With a dream in his heart and determination in his hands, Jordan "JC" DeLeon is ready to take the fast lane into a future he’s building from the ground up. Headed to South Plains College to study Business, Jordan’s goal is crystal clear: to open his own mechanic shop with his closest friends—turning passion, loyalty, and hard work into something lasting and meaningful. Jordan has always had a sharp mind for mechanics and a heart for hustle. But beyond tools and torque, he’s a young man of integrity who believes in showing up, standing tall, and earning every bit of respect that comes his way. His dream isn’t just about success—it’s about creating something with purpose and helping others do the same. At PCHS, Jordan found inspiration and motivation in Mr. Carthel, a teacher whose passion for teaching and genuine care for students left a permanent impact. “Class was never boring with him,” Jordan says. “He made learning something to look forward to.” It’s that kind of energy and belief that helped fuel Jordan’s own drive. Jordan’s favorite high school memory takes him back to sophomore chemistry, where learning was hands-on and fun, and the final project still stands as a high point in his school journey. But what he’ll miss most? The friendships made in the classroom, the shared jokes, team efforts, and memories that will last far beyond graduation. When asked about his legacy, Jordan’s answer is simple but powerful: “I just want to be remembered as an honorable man.” In a world full of noise and flash, Jordan’s focus on character, respect, and loyalty speaks volumes. He doesn't just want to do well—he wants to do right. And true to his fearless, fun-loving nature, Jordan’s favorite quote says it all: “I wanna go fast.” – Ricky Bobby - But Jordan’s speed isn’t reckless—it’s relentless. He’s focused, fueled by purpose, and driven by the belief that great things come to those who work for them. Jordan, your ambition, humility, and strength of character are a rare combination. Wherever the road takes you, we know you’ll build something amazing—and you’ll do it your way. ✨🎊Your journeys are just beginning, but you’ve already shown the world what passion, perseverance, and purpose look like. We are so proud of the people you are and the futures you’re creating. Keep moving forward, keep believing in yourselves, and never stop dreaming big. Your PCHS family is cheering you on every step of the way. 🎊✨

✨🎊As they prepare to take on the world, our Senior spotlight is highlighting two amazing young ladies, Keila Cavazos and Kamila Macedo as they remind us that every journey is unique, and every dream matters.🎊✨
🎓With a creative spirit and an eye for animation, Keila Cavazos is headed to West Texas A&M University, ready to explore her future and find her passion. While she may not have all the answers yet, Keila knows one thing for sure—she wants to bring stories to life and make people feel something through animation. At PCHS, Keila found encouragement and care from Dr. Nessen, a teacher who saw her potential and made a lasting impact just by showing she truly cared. Sometimes, it's those small acts of kindness that stay with us the longest. Keila’s favorite high school memory is simple, yet full of meaning—playing Uno with friends. It was in those carefree, laughter-filled moments that she felt most herself. And it's those same friends she'll miss the most as she steps into the next chapter. When asked about her legacy, Keila’s response is beautifully humble: “I hope I’m approachable.” And that says everything. She wants to be the kind of person others feel safe around—someone who listens, who cares, and who brings a quiet comfort just by being herself. No quote, no flashy words—just realness, and a heart full of possibility. Keila, we can’t wait to see the worlds you’ll create and the lives you’ll quietly touch along the way.
🎓With a heart full of purpose and a dream to inspire others, Kamila Macedo is setting off to Abilene Christian University (ACU) to pursue a degree in Education while continuing her athletic journey playing volleyball at the collegiate level. Her passion for teaching is deeply rooted in her desire to make a difference—to guide, uplift, and shape future generations the same way her teachers shaped her. After college, Kamila envisions a life filled with joy and love. She plans to become a teacher, start her own family, and live out her dream in her very own pink dream home. It’s more than just a house—it’s a symbol of the life she’s building with dedication, faith, and heart. Among all the lessons learned at PCHS, Kamila holds a special place in her heart for Mr. Soder, whose encouragement reminded her daily that anything is possible when you don’t give up. His support was a beacon through the challenges, and his belief in her helped shape the resilient young woman she is today. Kamila's favorite high school memory is beautifully personal: sharing two unforgettable years with her sister at school. Those moments of laughter, support, and sibling bond will always be treasured. As she looks back, she knows she’ll miss the memories, the teachers, and the people who poured into her life—those who helped her grow and believe in herself. Kamila hopes to leave a legacy that speaks to the power of commitment and belief: "Anything is possible as long as you are dedicated and committed." Her favorite quote reflects her compassion and wisdom: "Don't judge others for their mistakes—learn from them." Kamila, your light, your dreams, and your determination will leave a lasting impact—both in the classroom and beyond. Your journey is just beginning, and the best is yet to come.
🌟🎉From creative sparks to classroom dreams, you’ve each walked your own path with heart, purpose, and quiet strength. Keila, your artistic soul and gentle presence remind us that being true to yourself is a superpower. Kamila, your passion to teach and build a life full of love and color is nothing short of inspiring. We’re so proud of who you are and who you’re becoming. Keep chasing the things that set your heart on fire—you’re made for greatness, and the world is lucky to have you in it.🎉🌟

✨🎉As they get ready to begin an exciting new chapter, Carissa Gonzales and Joshua Starkey shine in the spotlight as two outstanding members of the PCHS Senior Class.🎉✨
🎓With a heart for helping others and a deep passion for understanding the human mind, Carissa Gonzales is headed to West Texas A&M University to major in psychology. Her journey doesn’t stop at a bachelor’s degree—Carissa has big dreams of earning her master’s degree and PhD to become a licensed marriage and family therapist. Her mission is clear: to guide families through their toughest moments and help them rediscover strength, connection, and hope. At PCHS, Carissa found more than just academic growth. The school’s high expectations and supportive environment taught her the value of hard work and perseverance. "PCHS pushed me to focus and strive for excellence—it gave me space to grow into who I am today," she says. Her favorite high school memory? Traveling to state with Student Council, surrounded by close friends who shared her dedication and drive. It was more than a trip—it was a moment of pride, friendship, and accomplishment. What she’ll miss most about high school is simple yet profound: the friendships built along the way. Those bonds have shaped her, inspired her, and reminded her of the power of community. Carissa hopes her legacy will be one of impact and compassion—a therapist who helped families not only survive their struggles, but grow stronger through them. “I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference—one heart, one family at a time.” Her favorite quote, by Freddie Mercury, captures the spirit she lives by: “I’m not afraid to speak out, and say things that I want to do, or do the things that I want to do... I think in the end, being natural, and being... actually genuine is what wins.” Carissa’s authenticity, strength, and purpose will no doubt carry her far—and the world will be better for it.
🎓Joshua Starkey's journey is one defined by curiosity, determination, and an unwavering commitment to self-discovery. Though Joshua’s next steps are still unfolding—he’s not sure yet where he’ll attend college—his future is rooted in a firm decision: Mechanical Engineering. This passion for understanding how things work, and his drive to make them better, will shape his college experience and the career that lies ahead. Joshua knows that once he’s earned his degree, the next chapter will be about diving into the workforce, where his skills and knowledge will contribute to innovations that change the world. Looking back on his time at PCHS, Joshua acknowledges the profound impact of his teacher, Mr. Carthel. Mr. Carthel was always there to lend a helping hand, embodying the essence of support and mentorship that helped Joshua navigate the challenges of high school. One of his best memories from high school is receiving his car—an experience that symbolizes newfound independence and the excitement of new opportunities. But as much as he looks forward to the future, Joshua knows there will be aspects of high school that he’ll miss, particularly the people who have shaped his journey. The friendships, the moments shared, the experiences that became milestones—these are what will stay with him. When reflecting on what he wants his legacy to be, Joshua’s thoughts are clear: he wants to leave behind a mark built not only on accomplishments but also on character. He wants to be remembered as someone who was driven, but also kind and supportive, leaving the world in a better place than he found it. His favorite quote—"Death and destruction are never satisfied, like the eyes of man."—speaks to the complexity of life. It’s a reminder that there’s always a desire for more, a constant drive that fuels growth, ambition, and progress. Joshua embodies that mindset, always looking to evolve and push boundaries while staying grounded in the reality that life, with all its challenges, is never static.
🌟🎊As Carissa and Joshua embark on the next stage of their journey, there’s no doubt they will make their mark—one that blends intellect, hard work, and an enduring commitment to making the world a better place. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and the incredible individuals you’ve become. Your hard work, determination, and passion have truly left a lasting impact on PCHS. As you step into this next chapter, know that we believe in you, we support you, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things your future holds. Keep reaching for your dreams—you’re just getting started!🎊🌟

🌟🎊🎓Senior Spotlight: Yaneli Jaramillo & Montana Moore - Two students. Two paths. One shared legacy of excellence, purpose, and impact.🎊🌟
🎓F rom the halls of PCHS to the future courtrooms of the world, Yaneli Jaramillo is walking boldly into her next chapter—armed with compassion, courage, and a calling. Yaneli will soon be attending the University of Oklahoma, where she’ll be studying Law—not just to build a career, but to become a voice for others, a defender of truth, and a champion for justice. And once that dream is set in motion? She’s packing her bags and planning to travel the world, letting every new place shape her perspective and fuel her purpose. Throughout high school, Yaneli has been more than just a student—she’s been a bright light in the lives of those around her. She credits Mrs. Cook as someone who’s left a lasting mark: "She’s always full of joy and knows how to put a smile on my face." That joy? Yaneli caught it—and she’s passed it on every day since. Her favorite high school memory? Homecoming Week, full of color, laughter, and unforgettable moments. But above all, it’s the people she met along the way that she’ll miss the most. And when she talks about her legacy, her words come straight from the heart: “I want to help people, spread positivity, and always make others feel included. But most importantly, I want everyone to know about Jesus.” In a world that often feels chaotic, Yaneli is proof that faith, kindness, and purpose still shine bright. Her journey is only beginning, but she’s already leaving a trail of inspiration behind her. So here’s to Yaneli—the future lawyer, the joyful soul, the traveler, and the world-changer. We believe in your dreams. And we can’t wait to see the mountains you’ll move.
🎓With a sharp mind, an unshakable work ethic, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible, Montana Moore is ready to shape the future—one brilliant idea at a time. Montana is currently deciding between top-tier institutions, waiting to hear from MIT and Rice University before making that final call. Wherever they go, one thing is certain: the future of Computer Engineering is in exceptionally capable hands. After earning a bachelor’s degree, Montana plans to keep the momentum going—pursuing a Master’s and maybe even a PhD. For him, learning isn’t a task; it’s a calling. When asked who had the greatest impact at PCHS, Montana didn’t hesitate: Mr. Carthel – a teacher who made a lasting impression and likely helped fuel the intellectual fire that keeps Montana driven. Montana’s favorite high school memory? Academic UIL competitions—where logic, strategy, and mental agility reign supreme. It’s no surprise that these moments, full of adrenaline and achievement, are also what they’ll miss most about high school. As for his legacy? It’s grounded in discipline and intellect: “I want to leave a legacy of hard work and academic focus.” In a world that sometimes celebrates shortcuts, Montana reminds us that excellence is earned, not given. This is just the beginning for Montana Moore. Whether coding the future, building the next breakthrough in tech, or cracking the puzzle of human knowledge—Montana’s story will be remembered as one of relentless curiosity and quiet brilliance.
✨🎉Congratulations, Yaneli and Montana! We are so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do. Best of luck on your journey—you’ve already made everyone at PCHS so proud.🎉✨

🌟🎉 For our senior spotlight today we would like you to meet Brooke Nails and Cameron Plante, two outstanding students ready to take on the world.🎉🌟
🎓This fall, Brooke Nails will begin the next chapter of her academic journey at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she will major in Political Science. Guided by a deep passion for global affairs and a desire to serve others, her ultimate goal is to become a diplomat—building bridges, fostering peace, and representing her nation on the international stage. At PCHS, Brooke was known not only for her academic and athletic drive but also for her kindness, resilience, and strong sense of character. She credits Mrs. Cook with having the most positive impact on her life, offering unwavering support and encouragement that helped shape who she is today. Her favorite memories revolve around the laughter and lifelong connections made with friends at sports events and tournaments—moments that brought joy, belonging, and school spirit. As she looks ahead, she acknowledges that leaving these friendships behind will be one of the most difficult parts of moving on. Brooke hopes her legacy at PCHS is one defined by hard work, compassion, and the constant pursuit of growth. She wants to be remembered as someone who lifted others up, led with kindness, and never stopped striving to be better. One quote that continues to inspire her journey is from Kobe Bryant: "The moment you give up is the moment you let someone else win." As Brooke embarks on the path ahead, she does so with confidence, humility, and a vision for a better world. We are certain she will leave her mark—wherever her journey takes her.
🎓As Cameron Plante looks toward the future, one thing is clear: resilience and determination will be his guide. This fall, Cameron will be attending Texas Tech University, where he plans to major in Physical Therapy. His goal is to build a meaningful career and find a place to call his own—proving that success is not only about where you start, but how far you're willing to go. During his time at PCHS, Cameron found support and guidance from all of his teachers, each playing a pivotal role in his growth. Their willingness to work with him through challenges and struggles left a lasting impact on his journey—showing him that persistence and support go hand in hand with success. Although Cameron may not have a single defining memory of high school, one thing he will undoubtedly miss most is the friendships that have shaped his experience. The camaraderie and bonds with his friends will stay with him long after graduation. Cameron’s legacy is one of transformation. He hopes to inspire others by showing that no matter your past, you always have the power to reinvent yourself for the better. His journey is a reminder that growth is not always linear, but with effort and determination, anyone can change the course of their life. Cameron’s favorite quote by Robin Williams serves as a guiding principle: "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind." As Cameron prepares to step into the next chapter of his life, he carries with him a strong belief in the power of kindness, perseverance, and personal growth. His future is bright, and his story is just beginning.

✨🎊As the Class of 2025 prepares to take the next step in their journeys, we celebrate two incredible PCHS seniors: Tatiana de Castro and Daniel Ritchey.🎊✨
🎓Tatiana de Castro is about to embark on an exciting journey toward her dreams, and her future is looking brighter every day! After graduation, she plans to attend Midland Community College or Amarillo Community College, where she will major in Sonography. Tatiana’s passion for her field is clear, and she’s determined to secure her dream job in sonography and eventually start a family. With her unwavering dedication and drive, there’s no doubt that she will turn her dreams into reality. Throughout her time at PCHS, Mrs. Faunt made a significant positive impact on Tatiana. Mrs. Faunt’s kindness, encouragement, and optimism were a constant source of support, especially when Tatiana needed someone to talk to. She taught Tatiana the power of looking on the bright side and finding strength even in difficult moments—an invaluable lesson that will continue to inspire her throughout life. Tatiana’s best memory from high school was being an office aid during her sophomore year. She cherishes the warmth and kindness of the staff, who made her feel welcomed and appreciated. As Tatiana moves forward, what she will miss most about high school are the friendships and bonds she created. These connections have helped shape her into the person she is today, and Tatiana knows that the support and love from her friends will continue to guide her through the next chapters of her life. Tatiana hopes her legacy will be remembered for her fun-loving personality as the shortest girl in school—a reflection of her ability to embrace who she is with confidence and a sense of humor. She wants others to know that your size or appearance doesn’t define your worth, but your character and determination do. Tatiana’s legacy will be one of authenticity, strength, and the power of owning who you are. Her favorite quote, "Size does not matter," perfectly captures the essence of Tatiana’s approach to life. She reminds us all that greatness comes in all shapes and sizes, and it’s not about how you look, but how you carry yourself and the impact you have on the world.
🎓Daniel Ritchey is a bright and ambitious senior ready to make his mark in the world! After graduation, Daniel plans to attend Lubbock Christian University (LCU), where he will pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Math with Pre-Engineering. His ultimate goal is to become a Civil Engineer or an Architect, combining his love for math and design to build structures that will stand the test of time. Throughout his time at PCHS, Mrs. Fountain had the greatest positive impact on Daniel. Although he struggled with math in the past, Mrs. Fountain's support and encouragement helped him get back on track. It was the little things she did and said that made all the difference, and Daniel recalls feeling less stressed and more confident in her class. The friendships he made in that class were the cherry on top, leaving him with lasting memories that still bring a smile to his face. Daniel’s best memory from high school comes from spending time with his friends after school, engaging in conversations about life while staying active. What he will miss most about high school are the extracurriculars—activities that allowed him to grow, learn, and connect with others. The experiences in band and powerlifting, especially, have shaped his high school journey in ways he will never forget. When it comes to his legacy, Daniel wants to be remembered for his dedication and accomplishments, particularly in band and powerlifting. He’s proud to be one of the four students to make it to Area in band for three consecutive years and for making Area in powerlifting during his junior year. These achievements reflect his commitment, hard work, and perseverance, qualities he will carry with him as he moves forward. His favorite quote, "Walk by Faith, Not by Sight," serves as a reminder to trust the journey ahead, even when the path isn’t always clear. Daniel’s faith and belief in himself will undoubtedly guide him to success, no matter the challenges he faces.
🌟🎉Tatiana and Daniel, your hard work, determination, and commitment to growth have been an inspiration to all of us. As you both move forward to pursue your dreams, we know that you will continue to achieve great things and make a lasting impact.
