Soccer tryouts for PHS Boys will run from November 27-29. Tryouts will be held at the field behind the band hall from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Tomorrow, November 10th, Plainview Junior High will be honoring our Veterans. The Veterans assembly will begin at 9:00am at the Junior High, 2200 W. 20th.
If you are a veteran, or know a veteran, we would like to honor you at this service.

Earlier this afternoon, the City of Plainview Police Department was looking for a suspicious person. This person has been apprehended. There is no threat to students, schools, or staff members per our Plainview ISD Police Department.
Plainview Lady Dogs Basketball picked up a couple of wins Tuesday night against Snyder. JV won 71-28 and Varsity won 59-29.

Plainview Elementary and Intermediate campuses collected coins in September for a firefighter monument that will be placed at Fire Station #2. The class at each campus that collected the most money enjoyed pizza at the fire station today.
Students collected a total of $3,712.83.

The Plainview Bulldogs football season came to an end in Amarillo last night as the Bulldogs lost to Palo Duro. Win or lose this team played hard each game until the end and gave the community much to be proud of.

Shout out to Mia's Italian Restaurant for helping make math fun! Fifth grade students learned the order of operations for math equations using the PEMDAS Pizza model. Mia's donated pizza boxes for the students' math pizzas. Thank you for supporting our students in the classroom!
