I have been involved in education since 1990.  I have a passion for helping kids and watching them grow.  I spent 23 years in the classroom teaching middle school Math, Science and Social Studies before becoming an Assistant Principal. I have coached girls basketball, softball, cross country and track. One of the biggest rewards is seeing former students that have grown into productive citizens of our community. It is an honor to work with your children. 

Originally from Canyon, Texas, I moved to Plainview in 2008.  I have 3 grown children, Leland, Kenda and Monty and 3 sweet grandchildren, Braylen, Makenlee, and Hayse.  In my spare time, I am watching my grandchildren showing their lambs, steers, and heifers at major stock shows and watching them play football and basketball and I am chasing my sons all over the country rodeoing (saddle bronc riding and team roping),  my best friend is my daughter, who is my rock. My faith and my family are very important to me.
