The Junior League of Lubbock Volunteer Scholarship deadline is fast approaching. Applications must be received by March 13, 2026.
The Junior League of Lubbock (JLL) is pleased to announce the availability of our $2,500 Volunteer Service Award Scholarship and kindly asks for your assistance in sharing this opportunity with eligible students.
This scholarship will be awarded to a young woman who has demonstrated an exemplary commitment to voluntarism and meets the following criteria:
• Female
• High school senior, or obtained a GED during the current League year, or currently attending a transitional school
• Planning to attend a post-secondary institution (college, university, or trade school) during the 2026 academic year through Spring 2027
• Resident of Lubbock, Lamb, Hale, Floyd, Crosby, Garza, Lynn, Terry, or Hockley counties
• Demonstrated commitment to volunteer service
Applications will be reviewed by the Community Impact Council of the Junior League of Lubbock, which will make a recommendation to the JLL Board of Directors. The final selection will be based on the highest cumulative score in the following areas:
1. Volunteer activities
2. Demonstrated impact of volunteer efforts
3. Continued commitment to voluntarism
4. References
The $2,500 scholarship award will be made payable directly to the college, university, or trade school the recipient plans to attend.
Applications close on Friday, March 13, 2026.

The deadline to have your Senior’s collar monogrammed with their college/trade/military of choice is coming up THURSDAY, MARCH 12 @ 4PM.
Students must have an acceptance letter to show their PHS Counselor in order to have their collar monogrammed. They can bring a copy of the acceptance letter to the Counselors’ office, or email it to the correct Counselor.
Please encourage your Senior to get this taken care of. Thanks!

La fecha límite para que su estudiante de último año pueda tener su collar monogramado con su universidad o servicio militar es el JUEVES 12 DE MARZO a las 4 PM.
Los estudiantes deben presentar una carta de aceptación a su consejera de PHS para monogramar el collar. Pueden traer una copia de la carta de aceptación a la oficina de las consejeras o enviarla por correo electrónico a la consejera correspondiente.

This is the last call to get your student’s scheduling appointment made. PHS Counselors will only be available Tuesday and Wednesday for these appointments. If you do not make an appointment and meet with your counselor, your student will not have a schedule next year. Please make your appointment today.
