Friday November 17, 2023, Ash will host its Turkey luncheon. Parents will be allowed to come eat with their child in the cafeteria. As the students return to school tomorrow, I just want to remind parents and students, that students are required to bring and wear their student ID badges on campus throughout the academic day. This is for the safety of all students and staff members. If the ID badge has been lost, students will need to pay $5 to receive a replacement badge. Students who refuse to bring or wear their badge will receive D-Hall which can lead to ISS. Parents, please check with your child this evening to make sure they have their badge. Also, this is a reminder that Friday October 20th, Ash students will have their picture taken for the yearbook and Skyward. If your child is scheduled to graduate this year, your child will have their picture taken while wearing the graduation robe. The robe will be provided. Good afternoon, this is Mr Wallace Principal of the Ash Program. I would like to invite you and your Ash student to the Title I ABC Partnership Meeting. This meeting will take place on Thursday September 28, 2023, and will be held in the Ash Cafeteria. The time of the meeting is 6:30-8:00. Although all students and parents are invited, it is very important for the junior and senior students who are scheduled to graduate this school year to attend the meeting. At this meeting we will discuss the requirements to graduate (Credits and EOC tests), senior projects, college visits, FAFSA, Title I information and other academic information. Because you as a parent may not have time to cook, Ash is planning to provide pizza, chips and a drink. We will also have a competition in the game of spoon where you and your child will compete against others and have a chance to beat Mr. Wallace. STAAR scores for your student are now available. To view scores, login to Skyward Family Access, select "District Links" in the top righthand corner, then select "Cambium Assessment". From here, you will be taken to the Student Portal where you can view state assessment results.
