Plainview ISD Wrestlers showed OUT at their first meet!
🥇 Cidro Martinez took 1st place at 132 lbs, and
🥇 Soriya Peña secured 1st place at 100 lbs!
On top of that, Plainview brought 13 competitors, and 10 of them placed in their divisions. Huge congratulations to all our wrestlers for putting in the work and representing with pride!

We know many families are concerned about food benefits during the federal government shutdown. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has shared updates on how this may affect SNAP and other benefits.

🎃 Spooky & Fun Halloween Lunch Coming to PISD! 👻
On Thursday, October 30, Plainview ISD students can enjoy a Halloween-themed lunch across all campuses! 🍽️
(Reminder: October 31 is an early release day.)
🕸️ What’s on the Menu:
• “Halloween Parfait” and a festive Halloween-themed grilled cheese
• A colorful salad bar featuring purple, lime green, orange, and yellow treats — including carnival cauliflower, yellow bell peppers, and lime Jell-O topped with whipped cream
• Purple mashed potatoes (made with organic dye)
• A fun mix of carrots and corn to create the look of “candy corn”

Plainview ISD Police, in collaboration with the Plainview Police Department, would like to thank our parents, staff, and community for your concern and support following last night’s break-in at Plainview Junior High.
We want to assure everyone that the situation was handled quickly and thoroughly. When officers arrived, the suspect attempted to steal several Nintendo Switches but dropped a backpack containing the stolen items and ran when confronted. Officers from both agencies immediately conducted a full sweep of the building, checking every room and area to ensure it was safe.
✅ No threats, suspicious items, or signs of danger were found.
✅ The building was cleared and secured before officers left the scene.
✅ Other campuses were also checked and cleared as a precaution.
✅ Classes continued safely today, and there is no ongoing threat.
Plainview ISD Police will maintain increased patrol presence at all campuses as the investigation continues, with continued support from the Plainview Police Department.
A $1,000 Crime Stoppers reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved.

Plainview ISD Police are requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect shown in this photo.
This individual broke into Plainview Collegiate High School last week. He broke in AGAIN tonight into Plainview Junior High between 10:00–11:00 PM.
The suspect was wearing Jordans and jeans.
If you recognize this person or have information that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a $500 Crime Stoppers reward.
