🎉 ELC Pickup Line WIN! 🎉 We have to give a HUGE shoutout to our amazing ELC staff AND our parents! Today, our pickup line was completed in about 20–25 minutes! It’s only Day 4, and we are getting this system DOWN! Our staff has worked incredibly hard to make dismissal safe and efficient, and our parents have done an awesome job learning the process, having numbers ready, and helping everything flow smoothly. Every day is getting better, and today was a BIG win! Thank you, ELC staff and families, for working together and making it happen!

Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminder Parents and guardians, please remember that when dropping off or picking up students, do not use alleys as a route and do not block residential driveways, entrances, or traffic access. We want to be respectful of our neighbors and ensure traffic continues to flow safely around our campuses. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and for helping us keep arrival and dismissal safe for everyone!

Plainview ISD is now accepting applications from parents and community members interested in serving on our School Health Advisory Council (SHAC).

SHAC provides parents and community members an opportunity to have meaningful input on matters related to the health and well-being of students throughout our district. The council works with the district to provide recommendations in areas such as health education, nutrition, physical activity, mental and emotional wellness, and other important student health initiatives.

Parent involvement is an important part of SHAC, and we encourage parents from across Plainview ISD to consider applying. Your experiences, ideas, and perspective can help us ensure our district continues to make decisions that reflect the needs and values of the families we serve.

Today marked the official kickoff to the 2026–2027 school year, and what an incredible start it was! This year’s theme, The Art of Excellence, reminds us that excellence is created through passion, creativity, dedication, and the people who make Plainview ISD such a special place. Today, we celebrated the many ways the arts inspire learning and help shape well-rounded students who are prepared for success both in and out of the classroom. Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s Convocation such a meaningful and memorable event. From our presenters and performers to every staff member who joined us, your energy and commitment set the tone for an amazing year ahead. We’re excited to welcome our students back and can’t wait to see all that we’ll accomplish together. School Supply Information for Plainview High School, Ash, & Plainview Collegiate High School We’ve received several questions regarding school supply lists for our high school campuses. For the 2026-2027 school year, Plainview High School, Ash, and Plainview Collegiate High School will be using the same process for classroom supply needs. To provide consistency across both campuses, each teacher will communicate any required classroom supplies through Google Classroom or during the first week of school, as supply needs vary by teacher and course. This has been the traditional process at Plainview High School, and all campuses have chosen to follow the same approach so families have a consistent experience across our high schools. This information was also shared with incoming freshmen and their families during Freshman Orientation. We understand many families like to shop before school begins, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming our students back for a great school year!

Missed the Cheer Camp registration deadline? Don’t worry! If you were unable to register by the August 1 deadline, your child can still attend. Please arrive a little early on Tuesday, August 4, to complete registration before camp begins. We look forward to seeing everyone at camp! 📣
