What a fun morning at Avir at Plainview! PHS and Wayland Cheer, PHS Senior Football, and the band brought the pep rally spirit, and the residents brought the smiles and cheers! We loved getting to spend the morning with them and spread a little Bulldog spirit. A huge thank you to First United Bank of Plainview for choosing our game as their Rivalry Game and presenting PHS with a check this morning. Nothing better than school spirit, community, and a whole lot of fun! GO BULLDOGS 🐾🐾

HOMECOMING GAME INFORMATION & REMINDERS

We are excited to welcome our students, parents, families, alumni, and community tonight’s Homecoming Game.

Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for everyone attending. Please review the following expectations before arriving:

-No outside food or drinks will be permitted inside the stadium.
-Students must present their school-issued ID badge for admission and must wear their badge throughout the game.
-Students will not be permitted to re-enter the stadium. Once a student leaves, they may not return.
-Students are expected to follow all school and stadium expectations. After a second warning, a student will be asked to leave the game, and a parent or guardian will be contacted for pickup if necessary.
-PISD staff may enter the general admission area by presenting their staff badge. Staff members wishing to sit in reserved seating must use their season ticket or reserved-seat admission.
-Younger students should remain with a parent, guardian, or responsible adult and be appropriately supervised throughout the game.
-Students and spectators should remain in designated seating and spectator areas.
-Please do not congregate around entrances, exits, walkways, underneath the stands, or in restricted areas.
-Aisles, ramps, walkways, and emergency exits must remain clear at all times.
-Running, horseplay, fighting, throwing objects, or other unsafe or disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
-All spectators are expected to demonstrate positive sportsmanship and respect toward student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff, visitors, and fellow spectators.
-Students and spectators must follow all directions given by administrators, staff, security personnel, and law enforcement.

We want Homecoming to be a great experience for everyone. Thank you to our students, parents, staff, fans, and community for helping us maintain a safe, respectful, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere.

Homecoming spirit is blooming in Floral Design!

Students put their classroom skills to work creating homecoming mums! This project brought creativity, learning, and a favorite homecoming tradition together, with plenty of Bulldog pride! 🐾

Seeds for Tomorrow: Growing curiosity one seed at a time!

North students welcomed Miss Plainview to their STEM lab today! Students learned about planting seeds and how they grow, then planted their very own seeds. Over the next few weeks, they’ll watch closely for changes as their plants begin to sprout! 🌿

Homecoming Mums & Garters Elementary families: Students are welcome to wear their Homecoming mums and garters to school on Thursday since there is NO SCHOOL FRIDAY! A few quick reminders for our elementary families: Please make sure mums and garters are secure and something your child can manage independently. Please tape bells or other noisy pieces to help limit distractions during the school day. Staff will not be able to unpin, repin, repair, or keep up with mums/garters if pieces come loose or become damaged. We love seeing our students celebrate Homecoming and can’t wait to see their school spirit!

Today, Plainview ISD pauses to remember and honor those whose lives were forever impacted on September 11, 2001. We reflect on the courage, compassion, and unity shown that day and in the days that followed.
