Important Update for Parents
Starting this school year, Texas law (SB 12) requires us to obtain parental consent before providing health-related and counseling services, such as first aid, vision/hearing screenings, and short-term counseling. These services have always been available to students and will continue as usual.
⚠️ Please note: Although you may have recently completed a consent form, the state has updated requirements, and we must ask all parents to complete the new 2026 Nurse/Counseling Consent form again for each student.
Please log into Skyward at your earliest convenience to complete the updated form. Completing these forms is essential to ensure that students can access the services and resources you would like them to receive.

Central Plains Invites PISD and the Community to their Color Run!
Parents of North and Intermediate Campuses. We want to make you aware that earlier today an 18-wheeler struck a utility pole, which caused a temporary power outage lasting about 30 minutes. Students at both North Elementary and Intermediate remained safe during this time. Power has now been fully restored, and school is continuing as normal.

Plainview ISD is proud to officially announce the launch of our Wrestling Program — led by Bulldog Alumni Coach Daniel Martinez as Head Wrestling Coach! 🐾
Coach Martinez is excited to return home to Plainview, bringing his passion, experience, and dedication to developing student-athletes both on and off the mat.
Joining him is Assistant Coach Galen Reid, who not only leads our Tennis Program as Head Coach, but also brings an incredible wrestling background and proven leadership:
-Started wrestling at age 5
-High School State Champion 🏆
-Coached a junior team for 2 years + 1st year at Randall High
-Wrestled 2 years at Colorado School of Mines
-Academic All-Conference athlete

Attention ELC Families:
For the safety of our students and to allow emergency vehicles access if needed, we kindly request that parents do not line up in the ELC pick-up lanes before 2:20 PM.
Lining up too early blocks the parking lot and makes it difficult for parents who still need to park and check out their children before the 2:30 PM cutoff.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep dismissal safe and smooth for everyone.
