• Laura Olivares | Spanish 

    Hello, my name is Laura Olivares and I chose to become a teacher in 2018. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview in 2004 and my Masters Degree from Colorado Tech in 2008. I have enjoyed teaching Spanish II at PHS for the last year. My children are Claudia, Gaby and Giancarlo. In my spare time, I like to work with youth and spend time with my family.

    I am Cecilia Varela, and I teach Spanish 1 at Plainview High School. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University. I enjoy spending time with family, my three furry babies and seeing my son play baseball.

  • Marcy Nava | Spanish 

    My name is Marcy Nava. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2001. I graduated from Plainview High School and have enjoyed teaching Spanish here for the past 11 years. Previously I taught Spanish and Yearbook in Kress ISD. I am married to Robert Nava and we have one daughter, Liliana and our dog, Lexi.

  • Enrique Villa | Spanish 

    My name is Enrique Villa. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University in 1996. I have enjoyed teaching Spanish and coaching volleyball and softball for the past 22 years. I am in my first year as an assistant baseball coach and am enjoying that too.
    My favorite thing to do is spend time with my wife of 20 years, Sandra, and our 4 children Analisa (20), Andrew (18), Adam (16), and Abram (7).
