I was born and raised in Plainview, Texas. This community is very important to me, and I want my students to know that I care for them and about their future and that they have the potential to do anything they put their minds to! I have always wanted to be a teacher, and follow in my mom’s footsteps. After taking 15 years off to raise a family, I finally went back to school to finish my degree. I love fitness and truly wanted to teach physical education. I believe exercise plays an important role in helping kids to learn, stay focused and feel good about themselves. It is my desire as a teacher, to help my students find something in school that they are passionate about, and to encourage them to work hard. I believe that I am exactly where God wants me to be, and that is teaching and coaching at Estacado Middle School
I have four children: Noah, Lainie, Landri and Natalie, and one granddaughter, Harper. I LOVE to sing. I sing in the choir and on the praise team at First Baptist Church. I love traveling. I love being in the mountains or at the beach. I love spending time outside gardening and camping with my family.
