    I was raised in Tulia, TX and graduated from Tulia High School in 2002. I earned a bachelor's degree from Wayland Baptist University in December of 2007. I have coached and taught in Plainview since the fall of 2008, (two years at Lakeside/Coronado, three years at Houston School/assistant golf, and at Estacado since 2014). Currently, I teach 7th grade Social Studies and coach football, basketball and baseball.

    My great grandfather and grandfather also taught at Estacado Middle School. I am married to Kimberlee Bentley who is a school nurse at College Hill Elementary and Highland Elementary. We have two children, Kenadee and Kasen.

    I am a 6th Grade Social Studies teacher at Estacado Middle School. Along with a Bachelor’s Degree, I have a certification in History 6-8, and Physical Education K-12. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University and received my masters in Bilingual education through Texas Tech University. It was a lifelong dream to have graduated from TEXAS TECH! 

    I was born in Corpus Christi and have lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, and best of all TEXAS!!  I love the outdoors and spending time with my family, especially watching movies and eating popcorn. I love reading about history in my spare time. 

    I have the wonderful opportunity to teach Social Studies and love teaching students about other parts of the world and their locations. I feel so blessed to be a part of a great staff at Estacado Middle School and working for Plainview ISD.
