To avoid weather delays, today’s Graduation practice has been moved to the PHS auditorium. We will still begin practice at 2:00pm, so be here at 1:45. Park in your assigned parking place and enter through door 8 by the cafeteria.
Remember, PRACTICE IS MANDATORY in order to participate in the ceremony on Saturday.

Seniors will take 6th - 9th Period Exam on Wednesday, May 24th during class.
10th - 12th Grade students that are exempt from finals will be counted absent if they do not come to school on finals days.

House Bill 4545 Information
Plainview High School parents, we wanted to provide you with some information on House Bill 4545 and how it is working at Plainview High School. HB4545 requires that each student must complete at least 30 hours of tutorials in each previous grade level STAAR test that the student either did not pass or did not take. For our freshman this means that students will receive tutorials in any 8th grade content area including Reading, Math Science, Social Studies that they did not pass or take the STAAR. For our upperclassmen this means students will receive tutorials in any End of Course STAAR Exam that they have not yet passed, and will be retesting in December. Students will be required to work on these tutorials in TCB 4 days a week Monday thru Thursday until they complete their 30 hours in each subject and/or pass their December Retest. Students will still have the opportunity to be requested to work on grades in other teachers TCB room on Wednesday and Thursday to help them with their current grade level work.
