Requirements for Class:
Full Attendance: no exceptionsRequirements for DPS:1) Application: DL-14A2) Certification: DL-964-E: Provided after all course work is completed.3) Texas Residency: DL-5 plus 2 forms of identification.4) TDPS Supplemental Examination: DL-405) Verification of Enrollment: Provided after all course work is completed.6) Original Birth Certificate: must have to receive DE certificate (need on the 4th week of class)7) Original Social Security Card: must have to receive DE certificate (need the fourth week of class)8) Texas ID: If you already have one.9) Glasses; if applicable10) If student is not a U.S. Citizen, he/she must bring a valid passport/visa or a residential alien card.Upon completion of the class, students will receive a "Certificate of Complete" (DE964) for their learners license, driver's license, and for insurance purposes. They will also receive a Verification of Enrollment (VOE).Parents will be required to take their student(s) to the DPS office to get their learner's license.
